to counter spambots, is it possible to have all posts by a certain IP removed?this functionality would be totally awesome. I'm sick of removing 30-40 posts to save an otherwise great thread

I'd demand high priority on this.it's really fagging up the place, sucking bandwith and virtually ruining every thread it's posted tono idea about permissions, because this can be pretty powerful. on the other hand, if >20 posts by an IP are logged you can be sure it's spam.

Check every box and then enter "BISCUITS" into the password field to mass delete them. Foone made a script a while ago that even mass checks the boxes for you, meaning that you just have to uncheck the good content (assuming it exists).We don't need an IP deleting function as much as we just need somebody to just ban the dudes. Hopping on IRC and flagging a mod usually puts a stop to it. Eventually.
>>1396Well, I do use the "check all" box, but i think the OP was asking for the mass delete by IP because the same IPs are posting hundreds of other threads on other boards. This is a good way to remove ALL of the offending posts, not just the ones on our boards.And Banning an IP does absolutely nothing; they just switch IPs and come right back. Trust me, I know, i've tried that route.

Seriously. We definetly need a mass delete on IP.The current spam-wave are a very very serious problem, and a war we can't win with our limited possibilities.
