I'm experiencing two problems with the extension.

One is Janitor-related: the Ban Request button just doesn't work. Every time I try to use it, it says "Failed to post ban request, perhaps it was not reported?"

Second is a problem with the extension universally: Quick Reply doesn't work anymore, at least on NSFW boards. When it puts up the window, it is completely overridden by the video ad to the left.

>As for the second part, since you're using firefox, just run noscript and adblock plus. between them, you won't see the ads.

Thanks for supporting the site!

I've e-mailed DamageInc about the ad issue. I'll ask MrVacBob to change the ban request thing.

For the past week or so, I have been having difficulty deleting posts on the boards. I'll check the offending posts and hit the DELETE button at the bottom of the page, and then I am redirected to the top page, but typically the deleted posts are still there. Usually the picture thumbnails will instead show a broken link, sometimes they will be unchanged.

Hitting the RELOAD CURRENT PAGE button in my browser or the F5 button a few times will remove the deleted posts.

I have not had this problem before in all my years of cleaning garbage on 4chan.

It's a delay with the page rebuild. I'll see what we can do about it.

same here.

good to hear. thanks

So is the ban request button on the actual pages themselves fully working now? Because it certainly makes tidying pages up easier.
>>
When deleting a post or submitting a ban request, instead of the REPORTS page going to the screen that states: "Redirecting back (or clickHERE)" and redirecting back to http://www.4chan.org/reports/?mode=overview (the REPORTS page), it shows an RPC Error and then goes to the board that had the offending post.

It seems to be deleting the posts, but it should go back to the REPORTS page.

I actually also get this message when evaluating reports:

RPC Error: Unrecognized response from server: (415) HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Thu, 28 Jan 2010 03:38:10 GMT Server: Apache Content-Length: 278 Connection: close Content-Type: text/html
Updating index...

This might be linked to an issue that I brought up in #janiteam before. But apparently, the page is working though it doesn't seem like it...? (The number of pending ban requests doesn't increase even after making several of them.)

BUNNYYYYYYy!

Problem fixed.
Thanks!
But now I am getting a lot of "This post doesn't exist anymore." messages when I click on a ban request on the REPORTS page.
I believe that this might be from a janitor deleting these posts that have already been reported.
>>
Is there a way for the REPORTS page to immediately redirect the janitor back to the specific reports page that he was las at (/k/, /ck/, /hr/, etc.).

Sometimes it does, mostly it does not.

Having this would be handy and save time.

Apparently there is an add-on for Firefox that allows people to report on all the checked posts in a particular page/thread.

Often, these reports are on legitimate posts, especially in /h/ where those whiny pervert cunts report on EVERYTHING.

Could the REPORTS page have a button for reporting the reporter for making improper reports?

And a button that clears all reports that the IP reported on?

What I normally do is have one tab for the reports page, and then open each reported thread in its own tab, about ten or so. then after going through those reported threads, then I just ctrl+F4 until I get back to the main reports page.
