As a janitor of /vg/, it has since become a stable board, with it's own community, etc etc.However, the rampant SHITPOSTING has become something that is completely out of my hands.I know we all have shitposters on our respective boards, however, sc2 is by far the worst I have ever seen.Sure, porn is posted in other generals, off-topic can sometimes get completely out of hand, but spam, image flooding, and "raiding" other generals has become a meta in these threads.When this board first started, it was easily detained by deleting posts. But for months now it has become a avalanche of a problem. They never used to spam this much, invade this much, or have thread wars this bad. It is a group of them that do nothing but shitpost and post the same kpop, posts and LOL I JUST LITERALLY PEED MY PANTS spam over and over.If I try to delete this off-topic garbage, they repost. Then it cycles until they just say fuck it. This is when I say fuck it and delete threads. Then they invade.I have no idea what to do about this anymore.If I let it burn, I get backlash from the community that actually tries to talk about it.If I try to do anything about it, it just backfires and I'm trying to deal with it even more.I've tried to have mod support help, but I feel like I'm babysitting them to behave and constantly bothering mods from other activities. Basically, I'm just stuck between a rock and a hard place and have no idea what to do.

sc2 threads are basically dead and impossible to save. they've been shit since... well... as long as I can remember.a couple GSL finals ago i tried to be nice/fun so I had a sticky put up; just rampant whining/koreaboo kp posting/KRKRKR shit with little to no discussion of the actual finals or glorious DRG.they used to be good, with passion being channeled and gifs being had, but yeah they are basically beyond saving at this point.tl;dr to save vg sc2 gens you'd need a mod to babbysit the koreaboo spergs and ban them as they evade and come back trying to spam more kpop stars (CUZ KPOP = SC2 RELATED DUHHH)i have a feeling these shitposters are basically the same ones as the /tv/ child star pedo spammers.

/sc2g/ is really starting to annoy me. A good portion of reports in my queue are from them, and at this point it isnt even worth looking over them.Something needs to be done about this blightthread.

As someone who frequents the threads I think it would probably just be a matter of sticking around to the point where people are never comfortable shit posting on that level.It won't be immediate results.
