Salutations all!
As this is our board I feel it necessary for us all to help one another with problems or issues that we have.
One such issue is..well..LIFE!
I say that in the sense that we all most likely(hopefully) have other things to do outside of 4chan and although we do we still find time to go on our respective boards and do a bit of moderation, however when we need to get in touch with others the IRC is one of the best methods, now my question I pose to you all is that I for one am always out of my home realm most of the time but I own a tablet(Android) where I do most of my moderation, I cannot however seem to access the IRC through it and was wondering if anyone could by chance help me with an app or method of doing so!
Thanks in advance everyone!

I use the andchat app for IRC on-the-go.

Address: irc.rizon.net
Port: 6697
SSL: [checked]
(Set your nicknames as you like.)
Autojoin List: #janiteam password
Autorun List: mode username +CGRp

password is the password, obviously. username is the username you connect with.

Then go to "Set Up" authentication, check "Authenticate with NickServ" and enter the password you use for your nickname.

Is there a way to access IRC from an iphone? I use mine to do all of my janitoring. I've only ever been able to log in to IRC once from my laptop because I have a Macbook, and since I had to use the web client I kept getting kicked out.

I'd really like to get to know the rest of the team and not being able to use IRC has made me feel pretty isolated. :<

There are several clients available for OS X and iOS. Colloquy is probably the best and what I used back when I had my iPod Touch:

I use Colloquy on both my OS X and iOS devices. Best client for mac, hands down.

I've successfully installed Colloquy to my phone. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to use it. It's pretty embarrassing how technologically illiterate I am, lol. I really appreciate you telling me about this app! Hopefully I'll be chatting with you all soon. :)
