With the recent rise of this Princess Trainer game on /v/, I thought it might be prudent to ask about an official stance on H-Games on /v/. I've personally taken to leaving the threads up and BRing any actually NWS images, but given the nature of the games they tend to attract NWS content and I was curious as to whether these belong on the board at all.
Well the question is, where would they go? /h/?/vg/ has several threads dedicated to, or mostly revolving around porn games. Even the VN generals and Katawa Shoujo are ero games at their core. Yet /vg/ is still a blue board just like /v/.
Kill them all sir
I think we will just leave them be until they burn out. This game doesn't have enough content to become a long time general, probably last a week more or so. I've been lurking in a few thread, very little NWS contents and the discussion was definitely there.
Discussing nsfw games isn't against the rules, so provided they aren't posting nsfw content I don't see what the issue is. From what I've seen, people posting in the thread have largely been very mindful of the fact /v/ is a blue board.I don't recall there ever being an issue with MGQ discussion/etc before so I'm not sure why we'd change stance now.
>>3615Going to have to side this with, so long as they aren't posting actual NWS content, I don't have a problem with it.
>>3612>Well the question is, where would they go? /h/?Discussion of hentai games DOES belong on /h/, just like discussion of hentai anime belongs on /h/ and not /a/. Not a lot of it is actually taken there, but that's where it should be.I personally don't think any H-games should be discussed on /v/ at all, but owing to the staff's stance about discussion always being worksafe or something, these particular threads are probably okay. But /v/ posters often just ignore the fact that it's a blue board, so if you want to give all H-games a free pass, you're occasionally going to have more trouble than it's worth -- see the recent release of Artificial Academy 2's character creator, for example.
