I might be a bit sporadic in my janitoring for the next few weeks. I may or may not have internet access at all from tuesday till next Sunday and after that I get to deal with how my instructors all procrastinated on assigning work till 2 weeks left in the semester.
(When I was 13, I figured I would never know what I would be like several years from that point... I don't think I have ever imagined myself saying that particular phrase.)
I'm on break all week, and although I will have access, it will be pretty limited, probably only after 10 at night - I'll try to get on as much as possible.
I'll be gone most of today (thursday) assuming my phone doesn't get data out in east Texas. Yet another thanksgiving where horrid food will ruin the holiday. "Tis the season, we're all suffering' I guess.
Being home for christmas now, I apparently can't sit on 4chan all day. I've been spending as much time as I could manage hanging around, but it's not as much as it used to be.
That said, I'll still be in IRC constantly if you need to get in touch with me. I'll still be around, just not as much.
Ok scratch that! I solved the incredibly complex problem of the router being plugged in wrong. I'll still be gone most of christmas and new years, though.
I might end up losing internet access for a week or 2 sometime in the next couple weeks. I don't know the specifics yet, as it depends on how big a bunch of faggots the phone company wants to be when I finish moving my grandma across town.
i will be gone from 26.december till 3.january. Because i want to spend some time with my friends and with my girlfriend. I will go skiing somewhere, and i'm afraid i wont have internet connection (i dont want to take my laptop, i'm a lazy bastard) So please take care of my /hr/ board.
>>582 Acutally, I'll be kind of on-and-off as far as how much stuff I can do until about January 10. A relative over for the holidays has forced me to share both computers I have with a relative that goes on 4chan and likes to troll /e/, so I'll be uninstalling the janiteam extention. I might be able to do some stuff with like, a thumb drive firefox or something, but no promises.
either my cable modem is dying or Comcast is chewing on the wires again, but i keep losing sync on my modem. it's been happening about once every 10 minutes or so. i'll be around to janitor my board but i'm gonna stay out of the IRC channel until this gets fixed, because wrangling with IRC when your connection keeps getting dropped is really hard, and considering it's the holiday season i might not be able to get a tech out for a while.
I will be off an on for a few days over Christmas. The 24th - 28th I should be ok. The 29th - 2nd I know I wont be able to check. If someone can watch /cgl/ during this time It'll be great. :)
Ok guys, I am just letting you know once again that I will be unable to take care of /cgl/ from the 29th through to the 2nd. I have gone ahead and removed the vast majority of troll and drama posts (took two pages off the damn thing...) so if someone can keep an eye on it for these days, that would be truly epic.
I am visiting relatives until the 2nd and I don't plan on bringing my laptop or using their computer. /c/ shouldn't be a lot of trouble, but it would be great if somebody could keep an eye on it while I am gone. Happy new year.
Heh, me again. I will be in Washington DC until Saturday evening without my laptop. Just keeping you informed so I don't get blamed if somebody spams /c/ with CP or something.
the northbridge chipset fan just gave out on my desktop, so it will be out of commission until i can get a replacement fan or board. i will do what i can from my laptop at home, but i won't be able to keep as good an eye on /r/ as i would if i had my desktop running.
sorry bout all this. my connection comes and goes, so i can't guarantee i can get online for awhile. keep the furry outta /an/ if you see it, will ya? :(
I am on spring break now, and will be going to Tahoe tomorrow until Saturday. I don't know how much internet access I will have while there, so I'll probably be unable to watch over /a/ for most of the week.
i am on spring break and will be leaving for las vegas tomorrow afternoon. i will be gone until wednesday or thursday. keep an eye on /r/ and /t/ for me!
Teus here, I went on camp for 10 days where I was quite busy and couldn't do a lot of work. right now i'm for 2.5 months in Crete, Greece for school. I'll see what I can do, but because of the limited internet connectivity here combined with all the socialising...
I'm heading up to northern Pennsylvania for a field camp/class on the 12th. I should be getting my laptop back pretty soon after I get there, but I'm going to be busy as hell until I get home around June 4th, so I won't be a very reliable janitor until then.
geckoagua from /v/ and /x/ here, I'm heading to England for 8 days, I'm bringing my laptop and hopefully will find enough intermittent hotspots to check around, but something tells me ye olde country bread and breakfast has not yet adopted telephonograph technology.
I'm putting one of my computers in storage and taking the other home with me. I'll be out of commission from today (the 14th) through the 16th, and possibly through the 17th.
I watch /w/ and /wg/. /w/ hardly ever has any problems, but the number of reports per day on /wg/ has been steadily increasing. If someone could view reports a few times a day, that would probably be sufficient.
INTERNET MAINTENANCE. Will be back at an indefinate time. ... And does even help if I mention this? All of our names are Anonymous. Then again, blah blah admin probably can see it.
i will be in Stockholm for Play! until June 6th please keep an eye on my boards for me especially /tv/, someone has been posting a lot of MLaaTR porn there lately
copy and pasting from a chatlog because i'm lazy like that
[22:27] <kami> I have a history exam on wednesday which is my last exam but the most important to me [22:28] <kami> i'm going to memorize two history books starting tomorrow [22:28] <kami> I don't think i'll have time to do anything if you guys need help with timing or tsing
This applies to janitoring /a/ and /ck/ as well. thank you in advance, etc!
Going on a short gambling binge with friends on June 4th and 5th. Watch /c/ and /p/ for me. Things are a bit tentative now, but I don't want to give less than 24 hours notice.
I'm going to japen to study from june 7 to july 22. I'll have wifi at school (assuming I can find a place to take on janitoring in private) but probably won't have a lot of time. If I could get a bit of help during these times it'd be much appreciated.
My mom needs someone to take care of her, so for the next week or two I'll need some help on /co/ and /tg/ - /co/ seems to have pretty good support, so mostly /tg/. Remember, (copyrighted) file threads are not legal there. I'll still be in at least once a day, but help would be much appreciated.
i will be going to fresno on the 22nd to spend some quality time frying in the heat and seeing old friends. i am planning on staying for a week, but if the spirit moves me i may stay longer.
i'll be bringing my laptop so i can do some janitoring work when i'm alone but it will be sparse.
Heading down to South Carolina until 07/02. I'm taking the laptop with me, but I don't think that I'll be on as much. Please keep an eye on /c/ and /mu/. Thank you.
my computer is broken and i don't know when i will get a new one. hopefully i will have a new one in the next two weeks but until then please keep an eye on my boards if you wouldn't mind
I will be gone from Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Please take care of both /p/ and /c/ for me. I will have little to no computer access as I am attending an ultimate frisbee tournament in Wildwood.
I'm moving to a new apartment. I won't have the time or connection to janitor from Tuesday morning to Wednesday night. As /h/ goes nuts with reports in just a couple hours, please make sure it is well-taken care of.
Hay guise. I guess its a bit too late to say this, but I was on a 1 week trip to Vietnam, thus leaving /v/ unmodded for quite some time. I will be back on Monday though.
The intersection of birthdays, visiting friends, and tremendous loads of homework is gonna leave me pretty useless for the next week or two. WATCH /r/ FOR ME, DELETE /y/ FOR ME!
Finals week for my LAST SEMESTER EVER, I've got two major projects and two final exams. So I'll be mostly absent for 2-3 weeks, but I'll try and handle illegal reports from time to time.
I'll be in Vegas from Saturday til xmas. I'll have net access and check in nights/mornings but only sporadically. Watch /t/ and /d/ for me mid day please.
I've had no internet at home for the better part of TWO MONTHS because of the sad state of DSL where I live. I still don't have it back, but I do have delicious Stolen Wifi, so I shall be on regularly once more. Never fear, /v/ and /cgl/! At any rate, I forgot the IRC server :( Someone wanna fill me in plz?
I will have female visitors over for a good part of the week. My ability to moderate cartoon porn will be severely limited. Watch /h/ and /e/ for me, plz.
it may be a moot point now but if the mods still haven't noticed that i've been really inactive, i'm sorry. it's my last semester of college and i'm waitressing full time on the weekend, interning at the health dept, going to class full time, trying to get all my work done...
i've been taking care of reports when i see them but that's about it. if thats a problem, i guess just let me know.
I recently started a full time job so I naturally have quite a bit less time to do any 4channery stuff. Sorry, 4chan.
I'll still be around for weekends and most evenings, but during the week at worktimes I'm unavailable (going to 4chan at work would get me so fired and going to 4chan at work to do any moderating would probably get me arrested.)
My computer is about to die. I'll try to get back up and running as soon as I can either fix this or get a new one, but I won't be able to watch /s/, /hc/ and /fa/
>>1138 I'll be back home for a week. I MIGHT be able to get the extension set up on a PC back home, but probably not. Just assume I won't be able to and that I'll be gone for the week.
Got a hospital appointment for some minor surgery on my arm. Dunno what kind of state I'll be in afterwards, so I might not be able to do much work for the next few days.
Ship time at my job, graduating and moving out, all in the same few weeks. Won't be around (not that I've really been around recently, but still) until June.
I'm busy moving stuff, starting a job, and trying to figure out what the fuck is wrong with some of my computer hardware. I probably won't be on that much until I find the time to sort out these issues. This is a problem, because spamming and trolling are really on the upshoot on some of my boards, and it's only going to get worse as we get closer to summer. I'll try to get back in action as soon as I can. Sorry.
I will be gone this weekend from the 23rd to the 26th. I believe I can do some light moderating. However, I am not too sure whether I have computer access or not. Please look out for /c/, /p/, and /trv/ for me.
Note: Be wary of threads concerning the middle east, Israel and Japan/xenophobia.
I'm going somewhere for two weeks where there might not be any easy internet access. I think that there will be some way to get online, but in case there isn't, please pay attention to /jp/ and /mu/, which have problems these days.
I'll be gone all next week. Can someone PLEASE keep an eye out out in /s/ and /hc/ for spam ? My boards have been really bad lately. I go to sleep then wake up to find 5 -10 threads full of local sex dot com or something, it's insane. Thank you!
sorry, me again ;x I have a job interview in boston next week and will be gone tuesday-sat AM. Can someone please watch the boards again for me? I'll try to sneak in on my friend's computer, but i'm not sure yet
Sooo, yeah. Me again. I will be in Hawaii Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday- then will be leaving for a cross country drive all of the next week so will be unable to watch /s/, /hc/ and /fa/.
Just letting you guys know that I'm not going to be around as much as usual since I am at a national conference for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers doing some presentations. It's only going to last a couple of days but you never know what's going to happen. I'll be back Friday.
Take care of /c/, /p/ and /trv/ during the day, but I should be able to still janitor at night. (I just hate to see reports accumulate.)
Going to be away a fair amount for about the next week or so. If someone could keep a close eye on /co/ (we've been getting a lot of trolling and porn in the evenings) and /h/ and /x/, that'd be neat.
I recently got a job and haven't been around as much; as such, /s/ and /hc/ has been under constant referral link attack (i.e. i come home to find 8 pages full of referral links with no other images). Until the month is over and i'm released from my assignment, can someone please keep an out on both boards to make sure that there's actually content in there? Thanks :)
Moved into a new condo, so i won't be able to watch any of my boards. HOPEFULLY i'll have it back tomorrow (feb 18), but if I don't, just keep an eye on /gif/, /x/, /sp/, and ESPECIALLY /v/.
I'm having trouble adjusting to my new schedule, so i'll be out for 4-5 days while I adjust from unemployed till working. Anyone who can, please keep a close eye on /s/ and /hc/
I have a new Temporary job that I have to both drive for two days to reach and adapt to the schedule. Janitoring for my boards on my part will be non-existant for the traveling (May 23rd-24th) and possibly sluggish the first few days at work. (May 26-28)
This is Echo, I won't be able to look at /s/ as regularly. I've taken up a new job and I'm going to be moving. In the mean time, I'll be able to pop in from time to time to check up on /s/.
I'm going to a wedding in New Mexico and I'll be there all week. I dunno how frequently I'll be able to janitor, so please pay closer attention to /jp/ and /mu/ especially, but also /c/. Thanks!
