Hail my fellow barons of baked pizza pastries and purple palm tree men.

I'd like to take the time to discuss a meta topic that might require a procedural change in the coming future, namely the continuation of girlfriend sharing threads. These are threads that are made consistently on /hc/ and less often on others like /s/.

Basically, my concern stems from the possibility of these threads being centers for retaliation and doxing, as well as being hubs for revenge porn of underage girls. Most of the time there is no way to validate or investigate the origin of these nude images, and I believe there may be many instances of underage but pubescent girls being posted.

I'm inquiring whether or not porn board janitors should have to run the gambit of letting CP slide because the age of the models are ambiguous. I don't want to say I support a blanket ban on the subject itself, but it seems to me that the very nature of these threads are a honeypot for anonib types spreading nude selfies of classmates and former girlfriends. And especially in the case of /hc/, these threads aren't necessarily on topic, but I've let them slide because contribution is sometimes more important than falling lock-step into the purpose of the board.

Also check those dubs.

Personally I think the rules are clear enough on this matter already, although perhaps stickies could be updated so that they all explicitly reference all the /s/ rules & stickies, including those for off-topic (higher resolution etc. as this seems to be a very good way of reasonably ridding the board of most low quality amateur images), doxing collages/names/facebooks and teens/underage. Except for resolution, which should imo be added to /hc/, these are the rules followed all over the site so I don't think reiterating them hurts.

>I believe there may be many instances of underage but pubescent girls being posted.
If you are unsure of whether any image is underage you should seek advice from a mod as a matter of priority. I don't believe there are many instances of underage content being posted and not caught but the possibility is ever present and seeking advice is always helpful. I would rather a mod delete content which could be underage if they are unsure than for me to br/delete for the same reason - especially so if I am unsure, even if just because fresh eyes/post/ban/history could reveal more.

>I'm inquiring whether or not porn board janitors should have to run the gambit of letting CP slide because the age of the models are ambiguous.
As above, if the age of any content is ambiguous ask for advice, the same for if you suspect doxing or are unclear of anything. I am only saying this because you yourself say that you believe there may be underage/ambiguous content being posted, not to be disrespectful or critical in any way.

>these threads aren't necessarily on topic, but I've let them slide because contribution is sometimes more important than falling lock-step into the purpose of the board.
I'd really like a mod to explicitly state this, or not as the case may be, but I don't think this should be happening - the rules of 3dpd boards should be followed explicitly, precisely to remove any ambiguity in the rules through incorrect action or inaction.
