How come there's no WR for reading a specific board's sticky? For instance on pol, the sticky says you cannot start a thread '"redpill me on x", with no additional information'I can only delete those threads, but the OP might not know why his thread was deleted and will just post it again or keep doing itI think if there was a WR for this, it would be goodI delete so many threads like this.
>>7937rather, a WR for NOT reading and adhering to a specific board's sticky
>>7937>the following are some examples of off-topic and/or /b/-tier threads:>off-topicUse off-topic.
>>7939it's not really off-topic, thoughif someone posts on pol "redpill me on the u.s. government", that's not off-topic, and if you simply delete it or just off-topic it, they won't really understand why their thread was deleted.
>>7940The sticky says it's off-topic if it's made in that format, likely because the thread will get derailed. I wouldn't worry about people not getting why their non-sticky compliant thread got deleted, people complain all the time about moderation even when you do have a specific rule with a specific reasoning for the specific type of moderation action taken against them. But to answer your original question, it doesn't have one because every other board specific rule falls under off-topic anyway, there's only redundancy for the sake of not banning anon for esoteric reasons (of which making a thread that the sticky expressly forbids isn't one of). Having a rule template just in case OP happens to make a thread which would have been otherwise on-topic wouldn't change the fact that it's still off-topic or that it's likely too specific a case to warrant a template.I would seriously not worry about anon not getting why his thread got deleted, if he bothered to read the rules or read the sticky he'd find out why.
