You should read The Kybalion, it's in the Fringe MEGA folder, which is linked in the sticky at the top of the board. (not the one smiley is currently freaking out in, the one with a shitload of links in it).
Many of us are Hermetics or started that way, and that book gives a great overview of what that means.

Meditation
I dont support JoS(Joy of satan ministries) but you should check out their meditation list - the descriptions are really simplified and I find them useful
Just ignore all the demons ritual things and you will be fine ^_^

OP, be sure to check out montalk's site, it has some absolutely great articles that will give you a good cosmology to work woith.

Literally everything in that book, and I do have it in my library, and I have read it… is taken from Franz Bardon's Initiation Into Hermetics and a few other sources.

Just go direct to the original sources.
