Can be useful, entities can fuck with the pendulum though to manipulate the results, and you got to be aware of that. Although Lobsang Rampa himself mentioned that. I personally think dowsing with a pendulum is not the best, would rather do psychomancy.

One of my cousins used a dowser to find himself a spot to dig a well btw. It worked! The dowser successfully sensed the presence of an underground stream to tap into.
