not much fringe about it, i saw the first 3 episodes and 10-15 minute montage of the movie on youtube when i stumbled on it, after a few series ( i don't watch anime like a fan, if i get a synch to watch a movie or a tv show or an anime for a specific piece of information i will ) so from that experience - yeah most anime has a bunch of redpill greenpill shit, what do you expect, their diets are different, they meditate, they each have a focus, their life goals are defined early on in their youth - western culture just destroyed their potential with 7-8/9pm shifts then mandatory alchool consumption after then little sleep - now their diets are ruined with kfc and mcdonalds - so yeah, the older anime is very open minded green pill, the new shit is just straight up yuppi nicktoons crap like just random elerminati symbols everywhere and bullshit you find in simpsons and family guy, some have a little bits n shit of ideas…

>>23312 btw if you recall the ending, the female does to the male, yeah, more bs, it's symbolism for sure for material matrix to logical mind, but anyways don't let it get to you, if you overstand it - you exit the programming and just oversee it.

>>23316 The symbolism used was empty of meaning, could be substituted by anything, inverted, have its order changed, and wouldn't make a difference. Evangelion is very fedora, it reduces everything to psychology and limits itself to physicality, as a common sci-fi idea of evolution proceeding to some form of singularity/instrumentality, but still in matter. May confuse a little the unlearned who do not differentiate the planes of existence. Nothing /fringe/ to see in it.
