Do cats have any particular esoteric significance? The Egyptians are notable for their beliefs they did, and indeed dogs and cats can act as canaries, alerting their owners to spiritual/energetic changes.

Is a true familiar thoughtform or an entity which inhabits the body of an animal?

A cat a few days ago wouldn't leave me the fuck alone when I was busy doing stuff in the astral. He kept climbing onto me and wanting my attention and wouldn't fuck off. Would even teleport back to me when I pushed him over a ledge. Now think I think about it, maybe it's Lauk, one of Jenny's tulpas.
