RIP freedomboard.kirara.ca.
SERIOUSLY GUYS STOP BREAKING RULE 2
The rules are simple and only apply to the creation of threads on /fringe/: 1. Don't make duplicate threads of topics that already exist unless the previous thread has hit the bump limit. 2. Don't make threads just to ask questions, actually present substantial information if you're going to make a thread. 3. Don't make a thread purely to shitpost (you will be forgiven if it's a major GET), just shitpost / loosh farm inside of threads that already exist. 4. Post threads that fall under the subject matter of /fringe/ (creepypasta FYI generally does not fall under /fringe/'s very broad subject matter, look at the sticky to see what subjects we discuss on /fringe/)

Hello /fringe/. I'm sure you're familiar with the divinatory practices of rolling bones, drawing Tarot, and similar things. These sorts of rituals generally involve a random spread of objects imbued with a small essence of the caster, and the future is then read from them. Today it struck me that perhaps we could draw similar truths from an array of random X generators on the internet. So, rather than rolling bones, you roll several generators and draw a truth from the result. Naturally you'd need a similar key for each, to keep the results in line with one another.

What do you guys think? I feel like there may be some truth to be found here.

Isn't this what TempleOS is about? Using a random number generator to contact God, or something like that?

I'd rather use physical objects, technology can be unreliable.

Or you could just use random numbers for more productive purposes like Monte Carlo integration.
