I like the flat earth thing, not cause I think its real but its a good way to make people realize how little they really know and gets them to return to their own reasoning and the evidence of their own senses.

Create confusion and uncertainty in people until they distrust everything and try to figure out the math for themselves and work out what they would need to observe in order to prove or disprove it. In the process they realize this task is more complicated than they assumed, and hopefully generalize this insight to all their other dumbass beliefs which are far more complicated to figure out than flat earth.

Of course hardly anyone does that, but its a good way to separate the PCs from the NPCs.

Jeez, whatever. I'll buy it. Let's say the earth is flat.

There is only one single reason I could possibly give a damn. So answer me this: Is there an entirely new world on the other side? If the ground is the source of gravity that would mean on the other side there is another world.

If we can definetly, 100%, without a fucking doubt confirm that the earth is flat we, as people who clearly want an adventure rather than living a mudane life, should EXPLORE THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF IT.

I don't really believe it yet tho. I mean if this were true this would not just started to become a bigger theory in the last 1-2 years or so, simply because people would AP, see that the world is fucking flat, and try to find proof - and AP isn't a new thing people, it has been around for fucking ever. Yet everyone percieves the earth as round when they astral project.

I'd be super fucking happy if the earth were flat but c'mon, we'd KNOW that.
