The rules are simple and mostly apply to the creation of threads on /fringe/:
1. No duplicate threads of topics that already exist unless the previous thread has hit the bump limit
2. No making threads just to ask questions, actually present substantial information if you're going to make a thread
3. No creating new threads purely to no-effort shitpost (you will be forgiven if it's a major GET)
4. Post threads that fall under the subject matter of /fringe/ (creepypasta is not allowed here, take that to /x/)
5. Respect anonymity. No identifying posts.
6. Do not sit on the default flag or post with no flag all the time.
7. Do not raid/attack the board.
If the board goes up for claim and the board owner can't be found anywhere, please contact live:chanseywrites on Skype to give the board to her.

Notice: board is currently under martial law and will be back to normal after the intentional and coordinated attack by a gang of ban-evading, census-cracking, board-wrecking shills stops. All meta-board drama is to be discussed on >>>/ask/ and attempts to discuss meta here on /fringe/ will result in bans, 15 minutes if you're a clueless first-timer assumed to be naive and innocent, 1 hour if you're a repeat offender intentionally join this shitfest.

Update: New rule (rule 7) and moderator guidelines for this rule added to /fringe/rules.html - please discuss the wording and such of this rule on /ask/ as I hope it covers very explicitly all the tactics used by board-raiders.

New additions to the board rules are:

Part 1.

7. No boardwrecking/raiding/meta-discussion. This includes attempts to spam-advertise other sites/boards/discords, attempts to slide the board clean of threads, or attempts to fill up the question thread or other threads with nothing but metadrama and rule-breaking posts. Take all meta / board discussion to >>>/ask/ and do not attempt to discuss board rules, drama, etc. on the board itself during a time when martial law is in effect.

7. Board raiders when martial law is declared.

Part 3.

Concerning rule 7: Repeated attacks on the board by ban-evading shitposters who partake in no normal discussion on the board and are just here to destroy the board will result in martial law being declared and all participants in the raid being banned for quadruple the regular time and their offending posts deleted. Martial law will be declared during board attacks via the board announcement or a locked sticky and remain active until the raid is over. Those who participate in meta-board discussion during a raid will have their posts deleted and be banned and sent to >>>/ask/ which is the fringemeta.
