Questions go in question thread

Which one of the Keys do you plan on using? If you use the lesser one, I've found it essential to first complete at least one aspect of the Ars Notoria at the end. However, this is somewhat difficult considering the time and devotion it takes. If you use the goetia, you can use a mountain lion belt instead of lion (but having a leather belt is essential because it is a threat to manifest the spirit, a symbol of conquered life) and you can use parchment for the seals since the greater Key permits it. Of course, if you want to spend money on the metal you could.

If you decide to use the greater Key, that's a really interesting one. First of all, it's hard. It requires lots of materials. Not all of these are necessary though. Only use the ones that are explicitly mentioned in the text as having a specific purpose. Instead of a sword just use a staff (like instructed in goetia) or a knife. For the animal sacrifices, just draw a bit of blood from yourself and bring cooked meat beforehand, because if I remember correctly that's a necessary offering. You're basically gonna have to have a meal with the spirit.

The fragment in the back is the most important section. You need to have a Liber Spirituum, aka any journal that's consecrated. You need to consecrate it by drawing the symbols specified in the fragment into the pages of the journal. You need to do 20 evocations before the first one as a process of initiation, since the Key requires that one achieves the rank of Exorcist before evocation. After every four or so, you add more materials. First, you start with only the basics. Finally, you get up to the evocation of the spirit you want to do. So basically if you do this it'll be an all night thing. Probably will take about 20 hours to complete the initiation. You're basically gonna summon every rank of demon to angel and evoke them. Here's a handy guide:

Yetzirah Sephiroth:

-10. “The Wicked Ones,” Amalekites, “Aggressors,” Geburim, “Violent Ones,” Raphaim, “Cowards,” Nephilim, “Voluptuous Ones,” Anakim, “Anarchists,” Nahema, “Demon of Impurity”

(cont'd)…

Ignore the 1/xx dates. Sorry. It's ideal to do it all in one night. Also, if you want to expand your reaches and use other grimoires, I recommend the Greek Egyptian Magical Papyri to summon Egyptian gods if you're into that thing? And also the Munich Manual of Necromancy is pretty cool considering how uniquely hallucinatory it is and how simple and inexpensive the rituals are.
