that yerba mate is shite, you should taste the one we have in uruguay/argentina. The one in pic related literally kills your kidneys

see the difference in the texture? A cold variant exists, called tererè. You drink it cold, with ice; can be very cold water or with citric juices (oranges, lemonade, etc), this variant is recommended if you live in hot-humid areas. Otherwise just stick to regular mate (hot water)

that is the kind I drink. my pic was a fast google images search

 No.25542

I used to freeze lemons and then grate them and often I put it on mate, though I've never thought of mixing with any other thing. It really is my favorite drink, from my personal perspective it gives you a sort of stable calm alertness. Just love it.

 No.25605

Green tea is good. Just avoid artificial sweeteners. They give you diabetes and fuck up your hunger/metabolism

I gained 20 pounds last month from drinking teas with that bullshit in it.

Now I just need to metabolize this extra flesh armor into loosh and it's all good.

http://fluoridealert.org/studies/tea02/
Tea, particularly tea drinks made with lower quality older leaves, contain high levels of fluoride. Because of these high levels, research has found that individuals who drink large amounts of tea can develop skeletal fluorosis — a painful bone disease caused by excessive fluoride intake.Since skeletal fluorosis is often misdiagnosed by doctors as arthritis, tea drinkers with skeletal fluorosis can suffer significant symptoms (e.g., joint pain, fragile bones) for years without being properly diagnosed and treated. As noted by a team of Chinese researchers who have carefully studied the impacts of tea intake on bone health, “it is certain that some heavy-tea drinkers suffering from fluorosis from tea-drinking might not be diagnosed.” According to these researchers:

This is why I'm afraid of drinking tea made of tea leaves.

Herbal tea is fine for me, though. Need to go pick my own herbs soon. . .

I need to plant an epic herb garden and start growing all my own herbs and just dry the leaves for the winter and only consume my own tea.

What tea plants can I grow besides mint and lemon balm?
