Seeing as merely writing this all down in a text makes me feel less motivated than simply writing it down and posting what I write and then continuing, I'm just going to put everything in this thread, and I will edit my posts or just re-write and delete this thread and post new one as necessary.

This thread shall be a summary of everything that I know after about 4 years of occult study and practice. I intend to make sure to explain everything as I understand it and to leave nothing out. All my knowledge interconnects into one whole btw and each part of what I am going to write is needed to understand all the rest of it. I am going to write it out in the order I think it out but later on will re-arrange everything. For the first edition I just want to make sure I write on every topic I want to cover, and then later I will go over it all again and edit and re-arrange everything.

I am making this summary right now because I am soon going to do a powerful ritual that will make me go mad or kill me if I am not able to handle it. So before that happens I want to share what I know, so others might benefit from my knowledge collected so far. I am somewhat of an armchair occultist but I have done serious magick many times already now and have multiple people that can attest to my power who either have worked with me or witnessed me when I have done something. Still I want to take things to a much higher level and become an adept. The intensity of my desire to take things to the next level is too great now for me to remain where I am and delay things with reading.

I thought about doing this as a PDF book but it is easier for me to write in this format of a thread on an imageboard so I'm doing this all as a thread. Maybe when I'm done with all this I MIGHT take the time to assimilate what I wrote into a PDF book, we'll see.

If you want to post any feedback or anything else in this thread feel free to do so. What I desire most though is for people to post questions for me, demanding I cover certain issues here and there I may have not already covered. I will mostly just be browsing through /fringe/ itself looking at people's threads and the question thread and in this way I will see things to write about that confuse people.

On The Study of Magick

Quite simply, to become a true master, you must become aware of every essential idea there is and you must believe (entertain) for a time everything.

The one thing you can do to accelerate your development as a neophyte studying magick, is to pay attention to the essential underlying ideas, and to very clearly know what they are and identify them wherever they arise again so you can be like "ah, the author is rehashing this old idea again under these new terms". In this way you will be able to go through many books and see all the authors are talking the same shit again under new terms.

There are many texts that garble things or get lost in FORM and SYMBOLISM and miss what is ESSENTIAL. You must understand the basic proposition, the metaphysical idea being put forward.

The ultimate magick book would be one that explains every metaphysical proposition and basic idea there is, concisely and clearly, without obfuscation or confusion so you may become familiar with every idea that actually exists concerning magick without redundancy. You would have you imagine each proposition to be true and follow it through in your mind, connecting the different ideas, and seeing if it produces a harmonious whole. By being familiar with every idea there is about magick and knowing them all in their essence, you can string them together into your mind, into one harmonious whole. When every idea concerning magick is chronicled and known to you, there will be nothing left for you to know, and everything further said will be the same ideas under new terminology.

Preamble

My understanding has reached a depth and profundity that is not easy to convey quickly. I have made contact with a higher sphere of consciousness and I have meditated for months upon certain questions that have burned at my mind, like what life and vital energy is, for example. I have come to see and understand the nature of some things in many different ways and I wish I could show you right now what I see in my mind's eye when I center my thought upon certain subjects. The biggest question of all concerns the nature of God and as my knowledge continues to be made more whole, I know more of the nature of God.

I want to sweep aside a ton of occult bullshit for the benefit of those lost in the mire. There are many on this board who are wasting their time in a very confused state because they are looking into the wrong things… I will put into the trash a great many things for you so you can focus on what really matters:

The Real Self

The nature of the real self is the subject of Raja Yoga, as well as The Arcane Formulas, and is mentioned and talked about in many other books such as The Inner Secret.

The real self put quite simply is spirit; spirit has two properties which are AWARENESS and WILL. The spirit is what you really are, it stands apart from all the things of the mind and body, and you must consciously become aware of yourself as spirit.

The first step to be taken concerning the real self is to become intellectually aware of its existence such as you have just now in reading this and in reading the books on the subject. The next step requires you begin a series of meditations in which you strip away from your awareness all the things of the not-self, in parts, or completely until your consciousness attains a state of pure awareness and pure will.

There are a series of meditations I use for this purpose. The order you do them in does not matter. If you fail OR complete one, go to the next, and the next until you've been through them all and then begin again at the start and cycle through them again, perhaps in a new order the next time around if you like. There are also meditations I won't be listing here specifically but which will be covered later on that also happen to give insight into and empower the real self.

1. The stripping away of parts of the body: become aware of parts of your body, and then remove each part from your awareness, and think about each part you could do without and if you would still be you with that part missing. Think about how every cell in your body can be replaced, how you can lose a limb, etc. and you are still you after all that.

2. Plane of personality: Desire strongly to resonate with the plane of personality (a subplane of the astral) and to experience for awhile having the body and mind of another person. You may do this while "falling asleep" and "dreaming" and you will experience this in a "dream". Once you have this experience of being someone else completely, with a different set of memories, a different mind, a different body; and you take this experience back to you then it will have a profound effect on you and help you realize that you are a spirit and not your mind and body.

Now let me tell you this knowledge of and realization of the spirit is very important. The degree to which you know your Real Self is also the degree to which you are able to manifest POWER. The more you are like ordinary men (only aware of yourself as a body or as a mind in a body) or in the case of person's of very low consciousness who are more like animals (which can't even turn their thoughts inward at all) the less power there is behind your thoughts.

This low-power state is at once a blessing and a torment. As you gain experience through incarnation after incarnation, your desires are purified and turn towards higher things more and more, and you eventually become less satisfied with material things and you yearn for spiritual knowledge. Those who awaken to an awareness of the real self, the spirit, too fast and without the proper purification plunge into disaster. The reason for this is that as you resonate more and more with the plane of spirit, each thought you have becomes more and more powerful, the emotions behind each thought manifesting as actual conditions and life circumstances. The attractive power of your thought is stronger in ALL DIRECTIONS, a fear will manifest to a certain degree, just as will an ideal you direct thoughts of love to.

When you are operative on a higher plane of consciousness you must be much more pure. Here is where books like The Universal Master Key and Character Power come in and the importance of ethics and of character development becomes great. Faith as well becomes very important and is needed to help you break past various barriers that would otherwise limit you.

Some things that can go wrong are:

• You may become operative on multiple planes all at once and be unable to tell for yourself what belongs to what plane; be something physical or mental in its manifestation you may get these things confused and you then end up with quite a problem.

• You may while your awareness is active upon the mental planes attract to yourself things which will torment or upset you.

• Negative thoughts you have about your body or mind may fuck up both. This will create a lot of suffering for you as the instinctive mind, the body intelligence, etc. acts upon negative thoughts and suggestions from yourself or from others that you are receptive to screws up.

• You may hurt others and then come to regret it because of your ignorance and low-development.

The degree to which you resonate with the plane of spirit is the degree to which you have power over the things of the mental and physical planes which are below it. This is a prerequisite to being able to do any magick; nothing you do will work very well if you have barely yet to awaken into the consciousness of the I AM I

Rhythm & Trances

About trances I want to say that the word describes just about any state of consciousness besides the ordinary whatsoever. As the term is so general, it is a very useless term, due to its lack of precision.

Rhythm and strong emotions is usually used to induce trance states. There are two secrets concerning rhythm which I have discerned, and as as far as I know these two secrets are all that is to be said about it, though I may have to meditate more to discover further principles of rhythm.

1. Any sort of rhythm has the effect of loosening up the consciousness attention through whatever sense channels it is expressed. The mind tunes out repetitive stuff like this and is able to go into other states of consciousness easier. What other state of consciousness the mind arrives at depends upon intention (active) or attention (passive).

2. The other power of rhythm is that any thought and any action done rhythmically gains power in an exponential way for as long as you maintain the rhythm. Like how a rhythmic beat can take down an entire skyscraper or a bridge if left to run long, thoughts and intentions can gain incredible strength through rhythm.
