I think it's a great idea, but get some awesome mods. There's multiple magic mods, a programming/computer mod, crafting mods, movement mods (free running stuff), combat mods, etc.
If you can curate a list of mods, we can start choosing the best and get something running.
Loading maps that replicate places on Earth that you want to target a ritual spell is one idea of shit we can do. Making materials more difficult to destroy would be cool, so you can build stuff that people don't just break with their fists, yet the world would be so promulgated with a variety and depth of mods that it wouldn't hinder the game at all to have a scarcity of resources.
I guess the best part of this would be having REAL occult knowledge to disseminate, enact and store. That way initiates can go on the server and learn all about the stuff, from people who actually know a great deal. It would be a virtual meet up of minds.
You would want to load books from your computer into the game, occult books, without having to type it out or anything, so some sort of software for that would be necessary. Same with images I suppose.
